THE PEOPLE OF LEONIDA
GTA 6 Characters: Jason, Lucia & Who Rockstar Has Confirmed So Far
Jason and Lucia are the center of GTA 6. They're no longer the whole picture.
Rockstar has given eight characters full profiles, while newer official footage has introduced more people around them. Here's who actually matters, how they connect, and where confirmation ends and speculation begins.

THE ANSWER IN 30 SECONDS
Who are the main GTA 6 characters?
Jason Duval and Lucia Caminos are GTA VI's central protagonists.
Rockstar has also published full profiles for Cal Hampton, Boobie Ike, Dre'Quan Priest, Real Dimez, Raul Bautista and Brian Heder.
Newer official footage introduces additional named people without giving them dedicated Rockstar character profiles.
Rockstar has not publicly confirmed the complete voice cast, a third protagonist or the game's main antagonist.
LATEST CAST UPDATE · AUGUST 27
Rockstar has now named more than its original eight profiles.
Only in Leonida gave eight characters dedicated profiles. An Extended Look later introduced additional named people through official in-game footage. ViceSix keeps those categories separate: appearing in a scene is not the same as receiving a full profile.
THE CENTRAL PAIR
CENTRAL PROTAGONIST
Jason Duval
Jason wants an easier life. Leonida keeps making that difficult.
What Rockstar confirms
After an Army stint, Jason ended up in the Keys working around local drug runners. He lives at one of Brian Heder's properties in exchange for helping with local work. Cal is already his friend; meeting Lucia could change where his life goes next.
Key connections
Lucia is the central relationship; Brian gives Jason a place to stay; Cal is his friend and a fellow Brian associate.
Still unknown
Where his relationship and story end, and how complete character progression works.
CENTRAL PROTAGONIST
Lucia Caminos
Lucia is trying to turn survival into a plan.
What Rockstar confirms
Fighting for her family landed Lucia in Leonida Penitentiary. Now out, she wants the better life her mother imagined back in Liberty City and has a plan to pursue it. Rockstar places Jason at the center of that possibility without revealing where their story ends.
Key connection
Jason is the person Rockstar places beside her in the story's central partnership.
Still unknown
Their final relationship and story outcome, and whether any larger playable cast will be announced.

How GTA 6's confirmed cast connects
Rockstar has established some relationships clearly. Where it has not, ViceSix leaves the characters separate rather than inventing connections.
THE KEYS
Jason ↔ Lucia
Central pair
Jason → Brian
Jason lives at Brian's property and helps with local work
Jason → Cal
Friends; both connected to Brian
Brian ↔ Lori
Married; Lori works with Brian at the boat yard
VICE CITY MUSIC / BUSINESS
Boobie ↔ Dre'Quan
Business partners around Only Raw Records
Dre'Quan → Real Dimez
The duo is signed to Only Raw Records
Real Dimez = Bae-Luxe + Roxy
Two members of one duo, not a relationship edge
CURRENTLY SEPARATE
Raul Bautista
Rockstar profiles him separately; no direct protagonist relationship is established in his dedicated bio
Lines show connections directly established in Rockstar material. A separate card means the person is confirmed, but no relationship is being invented.
ROCKSTAR'S DEDICATED PROFILES
The six supporting characters Rockstar chose to profile
Cal Hampton
Jason's friend in Brian's Keys circle.
Cal would rather stay home and monitor Coast Guard communications than chase Jason's bigger plans.
Why they matter: He gives Jason an established life in the Keys before the central pair's story moves beyond it.
Closest confirmed connection: Friend of Jason; fellow associate of Brian.
Boobie Ike
Vice City businessman with a music stake.
Boobie's interests span real estate, a strip club and a recording studio.
Why they matter: His business with Dre'Quan connects the city's money and music scenes.
Closest confirmed connection: Business partner of Dre'Quan Priest.
Dre'Quan Priest
Only Raw Records founder building his music career.
Dre'Quan has moved from booking acts at Boobie's club toward building Only Raw Records.

Closest confirmed connection: Business partner of Boobie; signed Real Dimez.
Real Dimez
The rap duo Bae-Luxe and Roxy.
Friends since high school, Bae-Luxe and Roxy built a local following through music and social media.
Why they matter: Their deal with Only Raw Records puts the duo inside Dre'Quan's developing label.
Closest confirmed connection: Signed to Dre'Quan's Only Raw Records.
Raul Bautista
Experienced bank robber drawn to bigger jobs.
Raul looks for people willing to take high-risk jobs and keeps raising the stakes.
Why they matter: His profile establishes another criminal figure, but does not identify him as the antagonist.
Closest confirmed connection: No direct protagonist link established in his dedicated profile.
Brian Heder
Keys drug runner and boat-yard operator.
Brian still moves product through his boat yard with his third wife, Lori.
Why they matter: He provides Jason a place to live, tying Jason's present circumstances to the Keys' local work.
Closest confirmed connection: Jason lives at his property; Lori is his wife; Cal is an associate.
