GTA 6 Trailer 1: What the First Reveal Got Us — and What We Know Now
Trailer 1 gave the world its first official look at modern Vice City, Lucia and Rockstar's version of Leonida.
Nearly three years later, the useful question is which parts became important, which assumptions were clarified, and which claims were never confirmed.

What Trailer 1 actually established
LUCIA
GTA VI's first public face was Lucia.
The trailer opens with Lucia in the Leonida prison system and establishes her immediately as central to the game.
VICE CITY
Vice City returned in the present day.
The trailer established a modern Vice City surrounded by a wider, Florida-inspired Leonida rather than a simple recreation of the 1980s setting.
LEONIDA CULTURE
Phones, livestreams and viral spectacle were part of the world's identity.
Trailer 1 repeatedly framed Leonida through phone footage, livestream-style clips and social-media imagery. That does not automatically confirm a playable social-media system.
JASON + LUCIA
The criminal partnership was there from the beginning.
The trailer shows Lucia with the man later officially identified as Jason during robbery material. Later identity confirmation does not backfill later gameplay mechanics into Trailer 1.
EVIDENCE CHECK
What Trailer 1 did not prove
Trailer analysis is useful when it identifies evidence. It becomes misleading when a visible detail is promoted into a confirmed gameplay system without support.
