Technical request data

Hosting and security infrastructure may process information such as IP address, browser or device details, request timestamps, requested pages and technical logs to deliver the site, maintain security, prevent abuse and diagnose failures. ViceSix does not use that data to create player accounts or customer profiles.

Google Analytics

Google Analytics is optional. ViceSix does not load its script, set its analytics cookies or send it page-view or event data before a visitor explicitly selects "Accept analytics." If accepted, Google Analytics is loaded normally to provide aggregate usage information. Selecting "Reject non-essential" keeps it blocked.

Vercel Analytics

Vercel Analytics is also active across the site. It receives usage and technical information needed to provide aggregate web analytics and performance insight.

Decision tools and browser state

GTA decision tools keep unsaved answers in temporary React component memory, which resets when the page is refreshed or closed. The GTA 6 Buying Desk and Launch Radar offer optional, explicit saves on your device. Your Map Watch also remembers the map places and regions you choose to follow, described below. The answers are not submitted to a ViceSix API.

Email and newsletter collection

ViceSix does not currently provide a newsletter signup form, email collection service or subscription backend. No newsletter address is submitted or stored by the site.

Third-party video

Some pages render lazy-loaded YouTube embeds using YouTube's privacy-enhanced youtube-nocookie.com domain. The iframe is present without requiring a separate click and loads when the browser decides the lazy content is needed. YouTube or Google may then receive technical information such as IP address, browser details and the page containing the embed.

Information may be processed by hosting and security infrastructure, Vercel Web Analytics, Google Analytics only after consent, and YouTube when an embedded video loads. External sites may also receive normal request information when a visitor chooses to follow a link.

Those providers operate under their own privacy terms and may process information in other countries. ViceSix does not control their retention, security or international processing arrangements.

No advertising network, affiliate tracking system, user-account provider, database or email service is currently integrated into the site.

ViceSix stores a first-party localStorage preference named vicesix-analytics-consent. Its value is granted or denied, and it is used only to remember whether Google Analytics may load. Visitors can reopen Privacy choices in the footer and change that selection.

If consent is granted, Google Analytics may set analytics cookies. If consent is denied, its tag remains blocked. Changing a granted choice to denied removes identifiable Google Analytics cookies where practical and reloads the page so future tracking stops.

If you choose to save your GTA 6 Buying Desk plan, vicesix-gta6-buying-plan stores your answers, recommendation and save/check details in your own browser on that device. If you save a Launch Radar plan, vicesix-gta6-launch-plan separately stores your launch choices, a snapshot of the facts used, and save/check details. You may confirm an import of hardware and format from the Buying Desk; it does not import an assumed purchase or edition. ViceSix does not receive these saved plans merely because they are stored locally. You can delete each plan in its tool; clearing browser/site storage also removes them. Other decision-tool answers remain temporary, and no answers are written to sessionStorage. Vercel Web Analytics operates separately from the Google Analytics choice.

Your Map Watch uses vicesix-gta6-map-intelligence to store followed landmark IDs, followed regions, the last-seen reviewed-change version and a save timestamp locally in your browser on this device. It uses this information to show newer reviewed changes affecting your follows. Selecting "Mark these changes as seen" updates the last-seen version. This is not an account system, and the saved information is not intended to contain personal information. It is not submitted to a ViceSix API. Reset follows removes this saved data.

ViceSix does not configure a single retention period in this repository for hosting logs, Vercel Web Analytics data, consented Google Analytics data or YouTube requests. Retention depends on the type of information and the provider involved.

Unsaved decision-tool values remain only in current component memory and are cleared by reset, refresh or navigation. An explicitly saved GTA 6 Buying Desk or Launch Radar plan remains in that browser until you delete it in its tool or clear site storage. Your Map Watch data remains until you reset your follows or clear site storage. Starting the Buying Desk again does not delete its saved plan.

People may have rights to request access to or correction of personal information held about them, including under New Zealand privacy law where applicable.

ViceSix does not intentionally build user accounts or behavioural profiles for children. The site does not currently operate account registration or age-verification systems.

This statement may be updated when site features, analytics, advertising, commercial integrations or relevant requirements change. The visible last-updated date should change only when the policy changes materially.
